The Aladdin O-419-0 Filter Lid and Pump Housing O-Ring is a precision replacement designed to restore a secure, watertight seal in high-volume pool pump and filtration systems. This round-cut O-ring is engineered as a direct replacement for several OEM part numbers, including Pentair® 355329, Swimquip™ 31935-0001, and 25230-0010S. It is commonly used in Pentair Pac Fab Challenger® pumps, Posi-Flo II separation tanks, waterfall pumps, and Posi-Clear® PXC series filter lids, where consistent sealing pressure is critical to system performance. At Benchmark Pool Supply, we regularly see pump and filter issues caused by aging lid O-rings that have lost elasticity due to heat, pressure cycling, and chemical exposure. Replacing the seal with the Aladdin O-419-0 helps eliminate air leaks, water seepage, and loss of prime—keeping your pool equipment operating efficiently. Manufactured from pool-grade elastomer, this O-ring resists chlorine damage, maintains compression, and delivers long-term durability in demanding residential and commercial pool environments. Designed for Pump Housing & Filter Lid Applications The Aladdin O-419-0 O-Ring is specifically sized to provide uniform compression across large sealing surfaces found on pump housings and filter lids. Its round-cut profile ensures proper seating without twisting or pinching during installation. Common applications include: Pentair Challenger® pump seal plates Pump housing and lid assemblies Posi-Flo II separation tank lids Waterfall pump housings Posi-Clear® PXC series filter lids Using the correct O-ring size and material is essential to maintaining system pressure and preventing recurring leaks. Why Replacing Pump & Filter Lid O-Rings Matters Pump lid and housing O-rings are under constant stress from pressure, temperature fluctuations, and chemical exposure. When these seals fail, symptoms often include: Water leaking around pump housings or filter lids Air entering the system and causing loss of prime Reduced circulation and filtration efficiency Increased wear on pump motors and internal components Replacing worn seals with the Aladdin O-419-0 O-Ring is a cost-effective maintenance step that protects your equipment and helps prevent costly repairs. Built for Long-Term Pool Equipment Performance This O-ring is engineered specifically for swimming pool systems and maintains elasticity under continuous operation. It is ideal for both routine maintenance and repair scenarios.
