Orthodox Silver Cross This Orthodox Cross Necklace is rich with sacred imagery, Church Slavonic inscriptions, and traditional Christian symbolism. Every side of the piece is filled with meaning — from the Crucifixion on the front, to the saints, angels, and prayerful inscriptions throughout the necklace. At the center of the front is the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Around Christ are the traditional Church Slavonic inscriptions: ІС ХС — the abbreviated form of Jesus Christ.
