The Oral Surgery Recovery Sampler offers a guided introduction to The Nourished Patient’s phase-based recovery programs, designed specifically for patients navigating oral and maxillofacial surgery recovery. Unlike the a la carte meals in the Post-Op Shop, which are sold in 4-serving batches, this sampler provides single-serve portions of multiple meals to help you experience the flavor, texture, and quality of our recovery-focused cooking before committing to a full program. Originally developed for orthognathic (double jaw) surgery patients, this sampler reflects the heart of our multi-week programs and gives you a clear sense of what it feels like to be supported by a structured recovery plan. Our full recovery programs include two rotating menus each week with multiple meals per day, a daily treat, specialty morning tonics, and house-made bone broth. The sampler offers a scaled-down preview of this experience, allowing you to explore a range of meals and textures in a simplified format. Please note: this sampler reflects the later recovery phases (Weeks 3–6), when flavor, variety, and nourishment deepen. Early recovery weeks (Weeks 1–2) are significantly lighter and more restrictive. The sampler is designed to help you envision the broader recovery journey rather than replicate the very first days post-surgery. All meals in this sampler are fully puréed to meet no-chew oral surgery guidelines. While textures are intentionally simple, each meal is thoughtfully seasoned and nutritionally balanced to support healing and satisfaction during recovery.
