This chest pack keeps your whole workflow front and center, which is the entire point of fishing a chest pack instead of a vest or sling. It runs 4 liters of storage in an 11" x 7.5" x 3.75" footprint and weighs just .88 lbs empty, so it carries five to eight slim fly boxes plus tippet and tools without dragging you down. The main feature is a recessed docking station with tippet bar for fixed, fumble-free access to up to six spools. If you fish water you already know and hate digging through a pack, this one is built for you.The design stays out of your way and out of the water when you are wading deeper rivers, which makes it a natural fit for trout streams and tailwaters. It is best for anglers who fish familiar water and want their gear in front of them, not slung behind their back. The 4L capacity is right for a full day when you pack smart, though it is not a haul-everything pack for backcountry overnights. The chest pack includes a roomy main compartment topped with a fly patch and a flip-down lid with a wide opening, plus a zippered interior pocket with key fob, front and side stretch-mesh pockets, and back wall slip pockets. A zinger/nipper pass-through port and a forceps dock sit on the front of the shoulder strap. The carry system is what sets this apart. Harness-style shoulder straps help distribute weight, while the breathable foam back keeps you cool. Four straps adjust the padded shoulder harness for both length and girth around the rib cage, so you dial in the fit instead of fighting a single neck hanger that wrecks your back by afternoon. The recessed docking station locks six spools in place where you can grab tippet without looking. One honest trade-off: taller anglers have reported the straps run close to fully extended, so if you are well over six feet, check the fit. The recycled ECO Cordura build means you are not giving up durability for the eco angle. This chest pack is compatible with the Bug-Out Backpack (sold separately), so you can snap it onto a larger carry system when you need to bring more gear for the day.Pack Type: Chest PackCarry System: Harness-style padded shoulder straps with four adjustment points and a breathable foam-and-mesh back panelWater Resistance: Water Resistant, the 600-denier ECO Cordura shell carries a strategic TPU coating, but it is not a sealed waterproof pack
