See what really visits your garden, day and night, with the OS Wild 4K DS Max Wi-Fi Trail Camera. Designed for wildlife watching, it lets you capture everything from visiting birds and curious mammals to nocturnal garden visitors, even when you’re not there. See more wildlife in detail The camera uses a dual-sensor design, with a 13MP Sony daytime sensor for detailed colour images and a 2MP Starlight night sensor designed for low-light and infrared recording. It can capture photos up to 48MP by day and 4MP at night, while 4K video at 30fps gives you clear, detailed footage of wildlife moving through your garden. With a 0.3-second trigger speed, plus 0.2-second pre-boot, the camera is ready to capture fast-moving wildlife as it enters the detection area. The PIR system has a total detection zone of up to 120 degrees, with a trigger distance of up to 20m, helping you capture animals approaching from different directions. Watch wildlife after dark The dedicated Starlight night sensor is designed to capture wildlife in low light, with infrared illumination for night-time recording. Night footage is captured at up to 1080p at 30fps, with an effective night range of 3–20m. You can also adjust the infrared settings between Auto, Economy and Off to suit your location and the wildlife you’re watching. Check your camera from your phone The built-in Wi-Fi connects directly to your smartphone using the WILDLIFE CAM app, so you don't need home broadband or an internet connection. From the app, you can view the camera live, take photos, start video recording, view saved footage, change settings and check the camera's battery level. The wireless connection works at approximately 10m, making it particularly useful when checking a camera that's already positioned in your garden. Built for the outdoors With an IP66 weather-resistant rating, the camera is designed to withstand outdoor conditions. Use the supplied tree strap or the 1/4-inch mounting socket to position it securely, ideally around 1.5–2m above the ground and approximately 5m from the area you want to monitor. The camera runs on 8 AA batteries, with lithium batteries recommended by the manufacturer. Typical battery life is approximately 6 months when capturing an average of 50 images per day, although actual battery life will vary depending on temperature, Wi-Fi use, image frequency, video length and battery condition. We heavily recommend grabbing a pack of our rechargeable ones so you can switch out when necessary with ease. You can view our Rechargeable Battery Pack here. For longer-term wildlife monitoring, the camera can also be connected to an external 6V / 2A power supply, making it suitable for use with a compatible solar power setup. Easy to set up and use Simply insert eight AA batteries and a Class 10 SD or SDHC memory card up to 256GB, download the WILDLIFE CAM app and connect your phone to the camera. You can choose between Photo, Video or Photo + Video modes, adjust PIR sensitivity and set the interval between triggers to suit the wildlife visiting your garden.Whether you're trying to discover which animals visit your garden at night, keep an eye on a hedgehog trail or simply want to see what wildlife gets up to while you're away, the OS Wild 4K DS Max makes it easy to bring those hidden moments to life.
