Perennial Herb: Mild onion flavour in typical onion shaped leaves. Use the delicate leaves in salads, soups, stews, omelettes and dips. Grows in clusters to 15cm (6") tall. Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in mid to late May, August and September or start them inside and transplant after danger of frost is passed. Space 2.5cm (1") apart and sow 6mm (1/4") deep in a sunny site with average soil. Comments: Zones 3-9 hardy. Approx. 400 sds/pkt. 75 days to maturity. Show more
