OssGuide can be placed with either surface against the defect — before or after hydration — without compromising barrier function or tissue integration. This eliminates a common source of intra-operative confusion, particularly in confined surgical fields. 2 Hydration improves pliability for complex defect geometries. For irregular buccal contours or saddle-shaped defects, brief contact with saline enhances flexibility and surface adaptation. The membrane retains its tensile strength after hydration — suturing, pin fixation, or tacking remain reliable. 3 Size selection should allow 2–3 mm overlap beyond the defect margin. TG-1 (15 × 20 mm) suits single-tooth fenestration and small dehiscence defects. TG-2 (20 × 30 mm) covers most standard implant-level GBR cases. TG-3 (30 × 40 mm) is preferred for horizontal augmentation, large ridge reconstruction, and multi-implant sites.
