How It Works Cold Rush circulates cooled water from the ice-and-water reservoir through insulated hoses to the pad placed over the treatment area. According to the manufacturer, the motor supports steady flow and consistent pad temperature, similar to designs used in larger mobile cooling equipment. An adjustable flow control knob lets the patient or caregiver set the temperature within the range prescribed by their physician.
