Crisp and refreshing, this cider is aged on golden plums and foraged lilac for months before bottling. What's it like? The blend presents itself with a punchy lilac nose, crisp plum acidity and soft stemmy tannins. Lilacs are truly the star here, their aroma and texture bolstered by the refreshing plum backbone. Wild fermented with our native microflora. 6.6% ABV | 750mL Ingredients: Apples, golden plums, foraged lilac, butterfly pea flowers. Gluten Free. The colour in Ostara: Lilac will fade with time. This is natural and does not affect the flavour. Refrigerate, and drink fresh. Zero added sugar. ~ *Ostara is our name for a series of ciders pairing golden plums and flowers. Each blend is a 3 year project. In this one, the apples were harvested in 2019, plums in 2020, and we foraged the wild lilac in the spring of 2021. If you've had Ostara Lilac in the past, this vintage has 3 times the amount of lilac. We wanted to impart as much floral character in it as possible this time round, and boy does it come through! ~ $500 from this release was donated to the Black Youth Helpline.
