The Ostrich Fern, also known as Matteuccia struthiopteris is fantastic for adding lush, green texture to shaded garden beds, riverbanks or woodland gardens. The upright feather-lik e fronds unfurl in spring to reveal light green, shuttlecock ferns that resemble ostrich plumes. The fronds will die back in autumn with fresh appearing in the spring. This plant has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit by the RHS. Show more
