Philosophy This object was refined over seven months and seven prototypes, undergoing real world wear testing across running, training and daily life. Each revision focused on balancing aesthetics, comfort and performance without allowing any one element to compromise the others. The objective was to create an interpretation of the trucker silhouette informed by the material language of premium performance outerwear and luxury accessories. A hat engineered to move seamlessly through every part of daily life maintaining performance, comfort and visual integrity in equal measure. An artisanal approach guided every step of the process. All materials were sourced in Vancouver and each hat is produced locally by some of the most experienced craftspeople in North America. Material Specifications Front Panel + Brim Mesh Back RPET Dintex Softshell with C0 DWR (REPREVE® recycled fiber) A laminated technical softshell typically reserved for premium performance outerwear. Face: REPREVE® recycled polyester (RPET). Made from post consumer recycled plastic bottles Membrane: Dintex waterproof-breathable laminate provides wind resistance, structure, and moisture protection Finish: C0 DWR (fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent) eco-conscious water-shedding surface treatment Backing: Performance mesh interior for airflow + comfort The result is a structured, matte, weather resistant exterior engineered to resist sweat saturation, staining, discolouration, and sun fading. The surface naturally repels lint and pet hair, maintains its shape over time, and can be hand washed without compromising the integrity of the material or shape. Rear Panels Stretch Nylon Mesh Unlike standard rigid trucker mesh, this is a high recovery stretch nylon mesh selected for: Increased comfort, softer hand feel Better fit across head shapes Improved airflow Shape retention The stretch allows the hat to contour slightly without losing structure. Interior Headband Quick-Dry Performance Sweatband Constructed from a moisture wicking technical fabric commonly used in premium athletic headwear. Rapid moisture absorption Fast evaporation Reduced salt staining All-day comfort in heat or activity Designed to perform under running, training and extended wear conditions.
