The Ward family welcomed twins born at 28 weeks where they spent months in a level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Two years later their singleton was born at 37 weeks and needed assistance in the NICU to help with breathing difficulties. The amount of time in the NICU did not change feeling of fear, uncertainty, and disappointment.
