The Fluid Head is simply the most effective big-optic head on the market. Between lifetime durability, sublime glassing motion, and an unbeaten weight-to-performance ratio, there's no part of this head that we're not extremely proud of.The Fluid Head offers a smooth-as-glass pan and tilt and, as always, is made completely from billet machined 6061 T6 aluminum. With most fluid heads, weight is a major concern. This indestructible piece of equipment only weighs 23 ounces. That is around half the weight of similar large pan heads. The Fluid Head now comes standard with the dual-purpose Arca-Swiss and Outdoorsmans Dovetail jaw set, in line with our Gen 2 Heads.The Outdoorsmans Fluid Head can accommodate either Arca-Swiss or Outdoorsmans Dovetail-style plates.
