Outkast, Atlanta GA, 1994. I was sent down to Atlanta to photograph the LaFace Cartel - they represented all of these up-and-coming artists from TLC to Usher, to OutKast, to Toni B raxton. They were so young, but they were so secure. OutKast knew who they were and they knew what they were projecting - these tough, Atlanta rappers, with their whole posse around - yet they were so collaborative and personable in a way you wouldn’t expect.
