OUTSIDE THE BOX is inspired by the works of abstract expressionist Mark Rothko. Through the use of simple shapes and unexpected color, our artists use richly pigmented inks that ar e layered upon one another by hand at various stages of drying. The process builds a multi-dimensional image that at first appears simple, but upon further inspection is truly quite complex.
