Wally Tax and Ronnie Splinter's songs span the Pretty Things to Tim Hardin (ie rough garage punk to folk rock) but with their own unique character. It's the most exciting LP (plus great bonus tracks) to come out of Europe in its era (with the possible exception of the Monks). Everything is taken at a fast pace and there's a tendency to double the tempo rather than change chords but the songs are great. If you like US garage punk then this will be a revelation (perhaps after a few listens).
