These beautifully patterned baskets are handmade by women from a Fair Trade cooperative in Sololá, Guatemala. This work provides a regular income, allowing them to feed their famil ies and send their children to school. The baskets are woven of pine needles bound together in an intricate design executed in raffia. Since all baskets are made by hand, measurements may vary slightly.
