Unlike traditional belt-driven systems that rely on friction to transfer power, this is a cog-driven belt system allowing for direct rotation and consistent power throughout all RPM ranges.With a 1.5" thick belt, you can rest assured this system is built to handle your needs. Just like most of our Overkill builds, the cog drive assembly itself is designed to tolerate up to 55 HP. Your 21 HP and 24 HP GX690 / IGX800 setups operate at less than half of the assembly's maximum capability. That means reliability and durability aren't an upgrade — they're the standard.
