Prerequisities This class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of using an overlocker. No previous experience using an overlocker is required. However, as this is a beginner class (rather than an absolute beginner class), it is helpful if you already have a basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine. Before attending, you should be able to: Identify the basic parts of a sewing machine Independently thread a sewing machine Sew basic straight seams using a sewing machine Please note, this class is not designed to teach you how to set up, familiarise yourself with or navigate a sewing machine. Instead, it focuses on introducing you to the overlocker and teaching you how to confidently use it.
