After looking at models and watching the weather trends around Albuquerque the prior few days, I decided to roll the dice! Drove past a couple really great looking storms on the wa y but my mind was set on getting this bucket list shot of mine! After driving up the mountain, all the stars alighted, only to get clouded out right at sunset. We walked back to our vehicles but while catching up, the sky cleared again! Without hesitation we ran back to our perch and quickly set up. Soon into shooting again the bolts started falling! I’m sure everyone on the mountain could hear our excitement! The best part of it was getting to share the moment I’ve been dreaming of (since I started this adventure in 2017) with good friends! Show more
