I showed how to make this cute little owl using my Burp Pad Template and a paper template for the ears in my Burp Pad Video. Although you can make the owl using my Burp Pad Template, the Owl Template makes cutting out the whole Owl fast, easy and consistent. If you look at the pic with 4 owls, you'll notice that the heads aren't the same. These 4 were made before I created the Owl Template. Check out my video using the Owl Template. You'll get to see several the steps to make these as well as some of the differences between this template and the Burp Pad Templates. Plus, you'll see lots of samples. To bring personality to your owls, add ribbons, lace, fabric, buttons, etc. To get you started, I've put together an optional Owl Taggie Toy Kit. Each Owl Taggie Toy Kit includes: 20+ pieces of ribbon averaging 10" in length - enough to go across his belly or make 2-3 tags each. Ribbons will vary. 8 buttons 4 flowers Combine the flowers with buttons or use either alone for eyes. Or use buttons and flowers as embellishment.
