The quick-drop shank below the eye allows for rigging fat-headed baits, and the maximum gap improves hook sets by providing better bait clearance. The non-movable weight attached (5130W) helps to sink or swim a rigged bait down into the strike zone, and because the weight is positioned low on the shank, it provides a keel effect.
