m many personal struggles soon became the hidden key to unlocking all the creative blocks I’d been facing. Musically, I was at an all-time low—unable to find a sound that felt truly my own. I had ideas I couldn’t shape, thoughts I couldn’t express. With nowhere else to turn, I sat down at the keys and started playing. It began with Neutrino—a moment of aimless tinkering that gave way to something more. Then came V Feeling, flowing almost effortlessly. Together, they opened a path I hadn’t seen in years. As the pieces came together, each track became a letter I had long needed to write. When Kayla—my wife, partner, and best critic—heard the title track, she created a visual representation that perfectly captured what I had only been able to feel. Her cover design anchored the vision. With that clarity, the rest of the album took shape—blending all of my scattered ideas into a single, cohesive body of work. Even now, six years later, I can listen to Ambient Highways from start to finish with my eyes closed and still see every step of that journey. For me, it remains a lasting expression of finding beauty within chaos—just a moment of clarity. I hope it brings that clarity to you, too.
