** Upcoming changes to 25 lb and 50 lb bulk sizes ** Oxbow has discontinued the 25 lb and 50 lb bulk sizes, and replaced them with 20 lb and 40 lb boxes, respectively. From our experience, quality is still very high, and waste is minimal, however you should expect a higher percentage of brown/yellow hay and the potential for weeds. Sizes: 15 oz, 40 oz, 90 oz, 9 lb, 20 lb, *40 lb. ** Shipping for the 40 lb box ** Shipping for the 40 lb box may seem expensive, but still provides a better cost/lb ratio than the other sizes. For example, approximate shipping to Edmonton would be $28+GST, Vancouver would be $40+GST and Toronto would be $45+HST. That would mean a price/lb with shipping included of $3.43/lb, $3.73/lb and $3.85/lb respectively (not including GST/HST). The 9 lb box currently works out to $4.42/lb, unshipped.
