Both feature symbols and numbers. And both live within an order and structure. Elemental Playing Cards exists to explore these similarities. The Oxygen Deck takes its inspiration from the 8th element on the periodic table as well as magic. The court cards take advantage of the different ways oxygen is used, and the jokers are meant to bridge the gap between science and magic by showcasing a magician performing the famous water tank escape.
