The VDK generates chlorine dioxide gas from the treatment solution. Chlorine dioxide can exist dissolved in the water and released into the cabin air. Without agitation, the gas and liquid begin moving toward balance. That means some of the available ClO₂ can remain suspended in the water instead of moving into the vehicle airspace as quickly. The Oxygenator Aerator constantly agitates the solution and disturbs the surface tension of the water. That agitation helps force more chlorine dioxide gas out of the liquid and into the cabin during the active treatment window. The tablet does not change. The release dynamics do. That is the difference. The Aerator helps turn a passive VDK treatment into a more active gas-release system. More of the available ClO₂ gets pushed into action faster. How To Use the Oxygenator Aerator Set up the Vehicle Deodorization Kit according to the VDK directions. Add water to the VDK jar fill line. Place the Aerator tube into the VDK jar. Turn on the aerator. Drop the VDK tablet into the jar. Exit the vehicle and keep doors closed during treatment. After treatment, turn off the Aerator, remove the jar, and air out the vehicle before driving. Important Use Note The Oxygenator Aerator is for VDK treatments only. Do not use the Aerator with Bio-Bomb Minis. Minis are designed to dissolve into water or compatible cleaning solutions for direct-contact cleaning and deodorizing. Minis will NOT release enough gas to permanently remove stubborn odors.
