Introducing Propper Seltzer from Omega Yeast! This yeast nutrient blend is ideal for creating sugar-based hard seltzers with ease and speed. You can achieve fermentation in as litt le as 7 days using any traditional yeast strain. Alternatively, you can use Omega Yeast's Lutra Kveik for an even faster fermentation of just 4 days!Hard seltzers ferment differently from standard beer brewing, as they solely rely on sugars like dextrose and lack the essential nutrients found in malt. Consequently, to ensure proper fermentation, the yeast requires precise measurements of specific nutrients and sugar.Usage Directions: One (1) pack provides yeast nutrient for (5) five gallons of sugar wort at 1.060 (15°P) or lower. Add sugar to 180°F (82°C) water and stir to dissolve. Boil for 10 minutes, measure gravity and adjust. At flameout add Propper Seltzer nutrient. Transfer sugar base to the fermenter at desired ferm temp. Oxygenate to 8 - 10 ppm. Pitch your favourite Omega Yeast strain and let it roll. Show more
