Gōeidō was a powerful Japanese ōzeki known for his explosive tachiai, aggressive forward-moving style, and long service near the top of the sport. Born in Osaka, he reached ōzeki i n 2014 and held the rank for 33 consecutive tournaments. His career highlight came in September 2016, when he won the top-division championship with a perfect 15-0 record. A respected modern-era favourite, Gōeidō retired in 2020 and remained in sumo as Takekuma Oyakata. This is an authentic tegata - personally hand-printed and signed by the wrestler.
