Insert the 18V/20V battery into the unit. The green indicator light will illuminate. Connect the clamps to the positive (+) and negative terminals of the vehicle battery (12V vehicles only). When the starter indicator light turns green, start the vehicle. If required, allow 3 - 5 minutes for the battery to pre-charge before starting.
