Though not necessary, I prefer using a harness, and its upwind performance rivals a wingfoil. The clean, single-skin canopy remains ultra-stable, even when sheeted out at the top end of the range. The short-length bridles allow for quick and easy packing while riding. I just love it!" - Axel Mazella, Ozone R&D Development Team and Olympic Racer ORIGINS Developed from years of experience in paraglider and foil kite design, the Pocket Rocket blends friendly handling with high-performance freeriding. Refined depowered stability, drawing insights from the Explore snowkite program Leading-edge profile battens maintain aerodynamic integrity when depowered Balanced cell and rib construction prevents tip collapse for a smooth ride Transverse Sail Shaping reduces turbulence and enhances lift-to-drag ratio for optimal performance With smooth handling, you can focus on adventure instead of fighting the wing. HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO WINGFOILING OR KITESURFING? Generates similar power per size as an inflatable wingfoil wing but flies more like a kite Provides stronger initial downwind pull than a wingfoil wing To get on foil, let the board follow the Pocket Rocket's natural downwind pull, then use the bar for smooth power control and upwind progress
