A LEFTY GOMEZ from the 1936 WHEATIES SERIES 5 set, card #1. This is a great addition to any NEW YORK YANKEES collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 2 This vintage hand-cut panel is in Poor condition, primarily due to the severe paper loss on the reverse. While the front maintains decent eye appeal for its age, the structural integrity and heavy corner rounding necessitate the lowest technical grade. Centering: 6 / 10The horizontal centering is quite balanced, but the vertical cut is very low, nearly touching the bottom text line. Corners: 2 / 10The reverse corners are heavily degraded with fraying and paper loss. Edges: 2 / 10The back edges are severely impacted by the overall structural wear and material loss.
