Understanding how the Savior rules in peace over an imperfect world was an amazing lesson for me to learn. One of my good friends was going through a really challenging trial. It seemed totally unfair to me, and I questioned why God was allowing them to go through it. We often think of circumstances being brought on by ourselves and others, but the Lord taught me something during my friend's trial. The spirit tenderly taught me that although this world is full of trials, all were worth it. I spiritually understood that if we could see what the Lord had prepared for us, that we would consider this world just and merciful. That is ultimately what inspired us to come to the earth, knowing we would go through trials. We knew it would all be worth it. We knew that as we experienced injustice, we would learn and be prepared for His eternal mercy.
