Original 1990 German exhibition poster for the retrospective exhibition of the prominent German Expressionist artist Max Beckmann. Poster features the work Self Portrait with Horn (Selbstbildnis nit Horn), painted by Beckmann in 1938. He created this piece while living in exile in Amsterdam after fleeing Nazi Germany, which had labeled his work degenerate art.
