Using Rockford Fosgate’s Interchangeable Locking Mechanism (I.L.M.), the P2V2-65 can be configured as either a coaxial or component speaker system depending on the vehicle and installation goals. The speakers utilize Rockford’s VAST 2.0™ surround technology to increase effective cone area by more than 20%, improving efficiency and midbass response. The removable tweeter system, redesigned Auto Fit Architecture, and removable motor cover make the P2V2-65 significantly easier to fit into modern vehicles than previous Punch generations.
