SOLD OUT!! Our three-pound package contains approximately 10,000 Italian bees enclosed in a standard wooden cage with a wire screen along both sides to allow for ventilation. The Queen (who is not marked) is placed in a separate cage that is suspended at the top the package. Within the Queen cage are five to seven worker bees to care for the Queen, as well as a sugar-candy plug. A can of sugar water, with a few small holes in the bottom, is also part of the package. There is enough sugar water to last the bees eight days in transit. Package bees may be picked up at our store or shipped USPS. The shipping cost is included in the price and covers shipping, packaging, and insurance coverage. Please select your shipping date/pickup date below. Live bees can only be shipped inside the contiguous United States $172.00 is the price for Store Pick Up. $232.00 is the price to ship USPS. Queens in packages are UNMARKED. Due to the quantity of packages we handle each bee day we are NOT able to mark the Queen for you. The date you select is the day the bees will ship from our facility, not the date the bees will arrive at your location.
