Whether you’re diving in cold water, silty conditions, or just want to try something new, full face masks offer comfort, warmth, and versatility. What You’ll Learn: • Mask Setup & Adjustment: Get familiar with full face mask features, fittings, and proper donning techniques. • Breathing and Clearing Techniques: Learn how to clear water from a full face mask and switch to alternate air sources when needed. • Communication Options: Explore the use of surface or diver-to-diver communication systems (when available). • Emergency Procedures: Practice handling mask flooding, removal, and switching to a backup regulator. Course Includes: • Two open water dives using a full face mask • Hands-on practice with equipment fitting and removal • Air sharing and problem management techniques • Equipment care and maintenance guidance Prerequisites: • PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) • Minimum age: 12 years Why Dive Full Face?
