We are very pleased to offer wild Paeonia lactiflora, the Asian native peony species from which most of the modern hybrids are derived. Paeonia lactiflora can be found naturally fr om 1,000'-7,000' elevation in China, Korea, Mongolia, and Russia. For us, Paeonia lactiflora makes a stunning plant in our garden with large numbers of single pink flowers highlighted by a large central ball of yellow stamens, starting in late April (NC).
