Indians find it perfectly natural and comfortable to sit on chattais on the floor in the Sukhasana position (cross-legged), a concept which is inherently rooted in our culture. This was the inspiration for the Italian Designer Giorgio Gasco for designing the Paffe sofa. He designed the Paffe with its signature removable quilts or tapettini, which serve as soft armrests but can be removed and laid out on the floor as additional seats; a playful appearance that resonates with Giorgio’s own exploratory nature.
