Brotia pagodula is a unique species of freshwater snail from Thailand and Myanmar. Like many other snails, it spends much of its time burrowed in the subbstrate and is thus usefu l for keeping the substrate oxygenated and turned. They have very interesting "tiered" shells rimmed with spikes, making them resemble Asian pagoda towers. Definitely an interesting species for snail/invertebrate collectors, or perfect if you want something more interesting than trumpet snails to turn your substrate. These are large specimens, around 2" long. They are much larger than previous specimens we have been able to secure! Show more
