Pailin Khao carries the scent of dried tobacco leaves and sweet incense, delivered without any sense of excess. There is also a touch of aged oud and a subtle jungle quality threading through the composition, lending it a character that goes beyond what most organic Pailin oils can offer at this price. It is, plainly, a very pleasant oil — and noticeably finer than most of the other organic Pailin work currently available on the market. We pay attention to what other vendors are offering at this provenance, and Pailin Khao consistently outperforms its category. We have not put a flagship price on it because we do not believe in inflating value where it does not belong, but the quality is genuinely there.
