Participants will explore how different binders, surfaces, and drying times affect color, texture, and expression. Rather than focusing on finished works, the workshop emphasizes material understanding, historical context, and informed artistic choice. What Will You Learn? About Your Tutor: Marc has a background in film, starting at Shepparton Studio in the 1970s, art directing commercials. In New Zealand he continued working in film and theatre; a notable highlight designing several successful operas directed by renowned opera director Bernd Benthaak. Marc also has more than 20 years of sculpture and played a significant role in the Olympic sailing campaign. Marc has been tutoring art at The Learning Connexion for over 25 years and is represented by Exhibitions Gallery in Wellington. FAQs: What do I need to bring?
