I’ve upcycled this desk/dressing using Annie Sloan chalk paint in three colours Jaipur pink, old white and a touch of paprika red, it was sanded back to give in a smooth finish and IOD transfers were added to the draw fronts and prominent areas to highlight the shape of the item. I finally distressed slightly to show a little of the pine under the paint and stained the stripped back top and protected the whole piece with polyurethane and wax, clear and white. I think I have kept all of its original character and details and highlighted them with a little paint, a lot of love, and now it’s ready for its next chapter.Thank you for taking the time to read about my furniture, if you have any questions please get in contact.
