The Superior Bee Polystyrene Beehive Kit is a revolutionary choice for modern beekeeping, designed to provide superior insulation, durability, and efficiency. Made in the USA from high-density polystyrene, the hive features a 2-inch thick design with an R8 insulation value, maintaining optimal hive temperatures year-round. This allows bees to focus on foraging and honey production rather than temperature regulation, leading to healthier, more productive colonies. The kit includes 2 deep box with 20 deep frames and 1 medium box with 10 medium frames, all fitted with wax-coated plastic foundations for a ready-to-use solution. The hive comes pre-painted with white exterior latex masonry paint for added longevity, though you can customize it at home with your preferred color. Built to withstand the elements, this hive reduces the need for repairs or replacements often associated with traditional wooden hives, offering exceptional value. Key benefits include increased honey production, better winter survival rates, and reduced propolis use, allowing more bees to forage. With effective temperature control, your bees will thrive through every season. Assembly is required, making this kit a reliable and innovative choice for beekeepers of all levels.
