Percy is a town here in Normandy, Andolfi is the artist. There is an air of sad tranquility about this painting, the colours are muted tones of blues and golds the painting is simple and honest, yet captivating. I have seen many similar larger paintings like this in churches here in Normandy. A heartfelt piece of European art.
