Flush mount lights came to be widely used in residential spaces in the 1960s when the apartments started to be built with lower ceilings, and it became difficult to hand chandelier s. This pair of 1960s flush mount lamps are made of clear glass. The round one is made in Portugal and a square one in Spain. The square light is made of a thick and rather heavy glass, great quality. The round one comes equipped with white painted aluminum base and E14 light bulb socket, and the square one with an aluminum base and E27 socket. We recommend using light saving bulbs that imitate incandescent, which work best with vintage glass.
