A pair of ecclesiastical Swedish Munk chairs. Originally designed for monastic settings, chip-carved ornament, gently turned legs, and horseshoe back recall Swedish fables. Removab le cushions in a chevron weave and faded blue cotton denim with faint tiling invoke spring. Tentative proportions possess an uncommon tenderness, favoring character. Turned and carved oak with chevron wool and cotton seats. H 33.5 × W 22.8 × D 20.7 in. Show more
