Framing nature at a moment of peace, this serenely colored scene is a source of comfort for all. The bends in the water at the beginning of the story indicate slight movement throughout the valley. As they move up towards flocks of ducks and playful horses, you begin to catch the feel of the environment. The floating birds are waddling around, with no fear; the horses are grazing on the lush vegetation of the lake; and the mountains holding the lake within are just catching the warmth of the setting sun. Overlaying all of this is a natural shade of blue - a color that promotes peace and tranquility. This is BANQUET. STORY This photo was taken at Napa Hai Lake in Shangri-la, China. In the winter, it becomes home to thousands of unique birds and beautiful sunsets. Every once in a while, my family and I would spend an evening down there to have a picnic, eat some fast food, and look out over the nature. On that particular day, I had brought my camera along because I wanted to take some photos. Starting off, things were going fine, and, in complete honesty, taking photos never became an issue. What became the issue was the fact that the time I had with my family in that wonderful place was coming to an end. You see, the plan was for all of us to hit up our favorite spots before we left for the States, more specifically, before I left for college - the lake was a favorite spot for all of us. As I was slowly starting to feel the weight of this goodbye, of both my family and the wonderful home I had, I realized something. Looking out at these animals, eating together, just as we were eating together, God reminded me of the banquet that I would have with my entire family in the near future. Even if I didn't see my family in years, it wouldn't matter as long as we were all walking with God. One day, we will become like those animals: pleasing God always and being filled with joy. I hope that if you purchase this print, you'll be encouraged and reminded to keep going, to live in joy because of the faith that you have. Thank you for reading. The only exception is Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth, which includes a 0.79" (20 mm) white border as part of its fine art presentation, enhancing its gallery-style aesthetic. If you prefer a white border on other materials, this can be achieved through custom framing using a mat board. This involves selecting a slightly larger frame and adding a mat, which surrounds the image and creates that classic, centered border effect. **For collectors who strongly prefer a built-in white border on other materials, custom orders are available upon request.
