The Palko Stinger is a 58in half-jointed cue for snooker and pool, built on a grade A ash shaft that is air dried for straightness and stiffness, with a hand-spliced African monzo wood butt carrying a zebrawood splice over white, black and white veneers. Air drying is slower than kiln drying but leaves less internal stress in the timber, which is why a properly air-dried ash shaft holds its line for decades. The joint is a brass quick release vacuum type, which mates the faces flush so the stroke transfers through rather than being absorbed at the join. A brass ferrule carries the 9.5mm tip, and a case is supplied. Show more
