Like all of the Palliser Ridge wool items, this product had its humble beginnings as the fibre that is shorn from the Romney lambs on the Palliser Ridge Farm, in the South Wairarapa, in February of each year. The shearing process, as well as their on farm practices are Responsible Wool Standard accredited, so you can be sure it's ethically harvested.The shorn wool then heads to the sunny Hawkes Bay for scouring, before travelling to Woolyarns in Wellington for carding and spinning. Made with wool from Palliser Ridge's latest lamb shear, all Land to Market certified.Palliser Ridge is a Ballance Farm Environment Award winning farm (2019) and their team are proud to share their traceable products with you. Should you experience stretching of your beanie, simply pop it through a wool wash and lay it flat to dry to tighten back up. Grown & made in New Zealand
