The palm tail spring is a product of the Borassus flabellifer palm tree. It is native to South and Southeast Asia, and it's a palm tree of the Sugar palm group. The palm tail springs have a unique spiral shape, which if exposed to a lot of water or misting, they will uncurl. We have them in our dart frog vivariums, and they do uncurl, but isopods and springtails really enjoy them, and our frogs like to snack on the springtails that crawl on the springs.
